Starburst.

If I see something in the shops that I like, it's highly likely I'll buy more than one of it if it comes in other colours.
Claude d'alban black skirt / Warehouse singlet / accessories from Bangkok Weekend Market
You might recognise this bow-back skirt because I have the exact same in mustard
Do you buy multiples of the same stuff if you really like something? I wouldn't buy the exact same thing (same colour) in double, but if something really catches my eye and I can't decide on which colour to get - I'll get both or all :-))
This cute little purse is from an area near the MBK markets in Bangkok (I told you I'd be blogging about Thai-bought stuff!!) Peeptoe heels from Reiss.
I forgot to get the name of the girl who made this bracelet, but it was bought in weekend market.
Her stall was full of fun jewelry like this. Very chunky, that's how I like it!
This one is also from the weekend market. This is the biggest diamond I'll probably ever own ;)

Sunday blues.

I bought this dress yesterday at the Karama markets - and finally got myself a pair of white heels from Steve Madden. They're hiiiiiigh.

Moving day.

Today my sister moved out (taking my kitty cat with her.. :( ) hence the bare room in the background.
I'm moving out in a few weeks time as well. All that's left is pretty much my bed and my closet. But who needs anything else!;)
I'll miss this place. Such a perfect location: just 10 minutes from work, the beach, the biggest mall, and a 10 minute walk from my favourite one, Mall of the Emirates.
But - must keep moving - on to bigger and better things!
Dress from H&M, Shoes from Aldo.

Daisy daydreaming.

I was in a very good mood this morning when I woke up. Like I suddenly realised it's summer and the sun is out for us all to enjoy. Then I remembered that I actually have work and will be stuck inside looking out for nine hours today. Oh well, the best I could do was try to convince myself that I'm out in the summer sun by wearing a lovely floral skirt.
I actually bought this skirt in three coloured patterns in a small department store whilst vacationing in Davao, Philippines.
I'm quite happy with my purchases. It was a surprise find.
Shirt from H&M / shoes from Target Australia.
The shirt was actually pinstriped and I know stripes & florals normally shouldn't mix. Oooh, I was feeling daring! Or maybe I was just running too late to decide on something else. I slept in then was just faffing about the house taking my time getting ready and that's why I'm holding my hair up in the photos, it was still dripping wet! Oops!

An obvious inspiration.

Have you ever worn tulle to the office?
My Forever 21 skirt has tulle underneath, and walking through hallways was fun, I felt like a bit of a princess.
This outfit draws inspiration from lady Zooey D, so I guess you can say I've watched the new She & Him film clip a bit too much...
I can tell you though, it was unintentional...
I didn't realise until halfway through the day in the office (whatever, I know you don't believe me).
I didn't even know if brown and blue matched, but was too lazy to transfer my items to a different purse, so picked the shoes to match the bag!
All I'm missing are the black tights. I should get uber-cute-brownie-points though because on the back of the skirt is a MASSIVE ASS BOW, as a colleague referred to it as.
I wanted to introduce you to my cat Piccola, but she's a little bit aggressive these days.
Biggest mistake of the evening:
1. Seeing that fluffball and deciding to pick her up
2. Hugging her despite obvious annoyance
3. Ignoring the fact she slapped me in the face
4. Having her close enough that she could bite me on the nose - can you believe that?!
She's one bloody crazy kitteh.

Hoot hoot.

Just a typical work outfit photo up from me here, now that the week's finally closed and I can enjoy the weekend!!!
My favourite bag lately is this wonderfully kitsch owl bag I bought from Chinese Dragonmart in Dubai. Always makes me feel like Harry Potter when I use it and most always get odd looks from people. I love her though, she's like a pet.
The glasses I found in a thrift store for a couple of dollars, fun, but they're a little too big to actually wear out.
I leave that kind of fashion to my mum - early 90s yo. Ain't she sweet? ;)
