I bought this dress yesterday at the Karama markets - and finally got myself a pair of white heels from Steve Madden. They're hiiiiiigh.

My Wednesday Wish - Miu Miu doll.

My Wednesday wish is to be a Miu Miu doll. A Miu Miu doll would have unlimited supplies of gorgeous satin platform pumps, sparrow and kitty printed clutches, stunning lashes over huge doe eyes, and out of this world, long, lean legs.
Take your pick.

Junko Shimada RTW Autumn 2010.

Before looking through the shots, please play the song and keep it in the background...
I could imagine this music playing as the models made their way down the catwalk.:)

Junko Shimada - Autumn 2010 Ready-to-Wear Collection
LOVING THE COLOURS.
I really like the mini skirt/long sleeve look. In some situations, I need to cover my arms up (due to the tattoo), but don't want to look like a nun ;)
For every inch of arm covered, I think it's fair to snip an inch off the skirt. Haha
Monochrome can never go out of fashion. It goes away but always come back - proving it's got the staying power. Obviously it's a classic look. Add a bit of colour to the outfit to make it POP!
Also loving the turbans featured heavily in this collection.
Always a fan of Arabian influences, and any way to keep hair out of my face during the scorching desert summer heat.
Colours, colours, colours - give me more, more, more!
And shall we have a close up look at those shoes?
Hot to trot!

PS - I wish I knew how to embed mp3's into my blog instead of youtube clips.
I've googled it but still haven't been able to figure it out!
If anyone can help me, that'd be great:-)

Samantha Harris.

Six years ago, a 13 year old girl named Samantha Harris entered the Australia-wide model search for Girlfriend magazine but lost out to the ever lovely Abbey Lee Kershaw.
Samantha is now a step closer to international model success. Having participated in London Fashion Week last month, she's been able to get her name and her face out there - showing potential to join the global ranks of other models who started off the same way she did, such as Miranda Kerr and Abbey Lee.
The Aboriginal/Danish beauty will be Vogue Australia's April covergirl. Shot by Nicole Bentley and decked out in Miu Miu. She's got such a gorgeous face. And those shoes, oh those glorious shoes...

Ong my mind.

I wouldn't say it happens to me a lot, but it does happen. Falling in love.
And it's glorious when you find something you love that you can have and hold. Forever yours. Until your poor feet can't walk no more.
This is what happened when I first set eyes on Beatrix Ong's S/S 2010 collection.

What first captivated me was Angelina's lean, flowing wings, dominating yet still delicate.
Then I found myself drawn toward the Lamia and those contrasting colours.
Suddenly, I felt the breeze of Venus' fan. Her glistening body mesmerised me.
Lastly, my inner Blair Waldorf squealed in delight as my eyes set upon the silken bow of Shaylee.
You too can experience such joy at Beatrix Ong.

Nice tutu meet you.

Quiet Riot [Dubai] tutu - thanks to Safa Park Flea Markets, I practically stole it for just 20 dhs!
Dolci Firme [Melbourne] heels - Straps, straps, straps of goodness.

The shots are just from the webcam, bad quality, but hope you can see the design. They're pretty awesome.
