Dubai.

You could only understand if you've lived here.
It's a love/hate relationship. Feeling sick and tired of it never feeling like home.
Trying to remember the actual reason you moved over.
I'm not a local but living here does give me a sense of belonging.
Belonging to a mass of expats who will never really belong.
Don't get me wrong though. I do love it here, I just want to leave before all this love turns bad, and all that's left is hate.
I don't want to hate Dubai.

I feel I've lost a bit of myself in the last 5 years.
It's kinda why I started blogging again - just to remind myself of who I am and what I like.
This is not me, really. But I'm getting there again.
